One thing I've been doing very well lately: Sleeping.
Generally, I'm good at sleeping, but during winter, it's all I want to do. Combines all my favorite things: Pillows, being warm under the covers, watching Law & Order in bed (and often promptly falling asleep), sweatpants, and ignoring my work phone.
My friend Jessica frequently spends the night in my bed, which she endearingly refers to as "The Cloud." I find this increasingly hilarious as I delve farther into my tech company job. (Currently far enough delved, apparently, that I finally earned a login to our website...) I have promised Jessica that if I die, I'll have left her my bed in my will.
Three things that have changed my sleeping life:
1. Down comforter (Thanks Nana!)
2. Throw away and replace dead (flat) pillows. **see below for convo with Sister Corey about pillows
3. Pillow top for my mattress (mine was cheaper than the one in the link, but you get the idea)
If your general goal is to be surrounded by pillows, you'll have achieved the "Cloud" effect.
Twelve hours in bed per night all weekend? Looking forward to it.
**The Pillow Convo
Corey: I need new pillows. Mine all died.
Samantha: My pillows are from Target and they're pretty good.
Corey: Mine too, but they have been through a lot. They need to be retired.
Samantha: Like Princess Diana? That's why her Beanie Baby is retired. Because she died.
Corey: Yeah I'm going to get a glass case for my pillows then sell them on eBay. Same thing.

I have that beanie baby.
